Christ alive and motherfucker!!! Febuary, fucking Febuary you say? A full 5 months and nary an update into that shit stained window that is our lives.
Well dear reader, you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd gave it all up, moved onto brighter pastures or hopped the trend with the deck shoes and dubstep crowd. Alas, none of this is true, so you can get that notion straight out of your head. There's no half measures on our part, and we expect there to be none on yours.

2) In one fell swipe, tear/cut/gouge off the left sleeve.

3) Repeat on the right side. It is IMPERATIVE you start on the left to achieve this look.

4) Put on shirt. Stick out your neck, think of the deep south and the impending summer. Now remove shirt, and trim the neck cuff to suit the previous thought.

5) Put shirt back on. Feign tough guy. Strut and get awesome.

Thing is, Lafferty alway looks good. He can do whatever he wants. Everyone else will probably look like an utter tool. Never stop us before though, aye?

Hello Darling.

It's been a while since we sat down and had a nice 'talk', hasn't it?

A real, long CHAT.

Well fuck that. I'm really not in the mood. You can sit and read an irreverent rhetoric of prevailing occurrences instead, or you can piss off.

The TOI camp has been rather preoccupied lately. Ritual lifting and loading was put to one side over the most joyous times of year. The last show of 2010 had to be cancelled at short notice, and normal activities were not resumed until 7th of January. It was then that we blew our allegorical 2 month old load about the walls, hearts and stick sticky floors of the Kings Manor in the presence of the North East's finest and Mob Rules.

Although the hype that precedes it is probably deflated and saggy like a used prophylactic, the final mixes of the forthcoming Sow EP were delivered and devoured last Sunday. An 'amuse bouche' of said recording was previously posted about the palisades detailing the tone of the product. It might be the best thing you've ever heard. It might be a massive pile of excrement slowly rotting in the sonic abattoir of far flung servers. Either way, it's been made. It's being presented. Buy it if you want. It’s got a savage fucking pig on the front if you're shallow enough to give it a moment’s reflection.

So onward.

Nerd has been busy making things for you to tart yourself up with.

Yesterday, a plethora of raglan shirts arrived to the depot and unfurled themselves about the salon. Soon they will be printed. Soon they will be for sale. Sizing is a little snug, so lose some fucking weight before you even think about purchasing.

There are 2 types of badges available; the 'shiny' and the 'pog'. Same design, different finish. Shinies look like they've been printed onto metal. Again available soon.

The show.

It was a rather rowdy evening, I dare say the majority share were menstruating in some capacity, the air was musky, heavy and doused in transgression. 5 bands, £3, the hosts were surely robbed. Nerd and the rare talent of Lee Innis worked in collaboration to generate lavish screen printed posters as souvenirs for a selected few.

A clamouring audience met every tonal inflection with surges and grace. Something so engrossing has not been felt in a long time. It truly felt like the resurgence of a missing protagonist. We hope it lingers.

This was the best way we could have wished to start the year. It was documented by Skinny, the misanthropic boy wonder. The videos will be posted soon, so you might want to take your leave and retire to the haven from whence you emerged.

Get involved, or get lost. There's no room for commitment issues here and our tolerance of distracting and irrelevant slavering is waning.

Well we have been busy little bastards haven't we. highlights a plenty with the usual scum and shite smothered between. It's like our glue. It works.

So, reverse chronologically speaking, Yesterday saw day 2 of 2 in the lair being courted by the most genteel Mr McManus Esq. at Blank Studios . Bo Bandy laid down his grandly bereft vocals over what I hope will evenually become the demise of your stapes. The whole affair of documenting what's been nearly a years worth of misplacing biceps, blowing Subs, tearing off bass strings, snapping sticks and heavy lifting, was a liberally cathartic experience. Next week, Maccas will unveil his handy work. You can maybe get some.
Shy Bairns will be shoving this one under your feral little noses, a fully screened and handmade effort. There will be 6 tracks. They will all have names. They will all be more exuberant than you could ever imagine.

Before we recorded, a smattering of shows were played to the peasants and paupers of the neighbourhood. DIVORCE graced the bassment of petulence with calculated solicitude late in September. My god. Did they not make the walls shake. There's something scathing the air in Glasgow, I swear. Glasweigans hold a certain gland of distilled vitriol somewhere musky; find their trigger and you'll witness something florid and grotesquely seductive. Kindred though we were, they blew us clear of the ground.

Habitually, we would have done more, but you really didn't deserve us. The fact that wee Woodcock dislocated his bicep has nought to do with it.

Nerd and Beard retaurned from the best country in the world having spent the entire summer riding shitty bikes around lakes and vine lands.

AYE so this proper sound marra called John from the Sage in Gateshead gave us a shout because he wished to enter into the mutually beneficial deal of recording us with his glorious new toys. Granted, it seems like a bit of a one sided deal, but folk like us don't get offers like that everyday now, do we?

Crack being, we recorded 5 blinding tracks, they've got names and that (mebbees. RAD AS. Next week SJ's doing an overdub because she's bottom heavy and generally a bit shit. Stupid Sub. Stupid decay. St. John's going to mix it and make us sound like gods among mere mortals.

Rocco's Bar in Newcastle, a venues formerly known as 'The Musical Restaurant', became the setting for our coming of age debutant. We are now officially open for business. It was 26th February, and we were 2 months old.

This night was a Bastard Spectacle, there was a naked middle aged gent who lacked any tangiable penis, another fine and tweed clad dandy played the polystyrene blocks to a back drop of clamourous drums, gratuitously sneering strings and crys of 'have you got the riff?...We'll be ok when we find it...was that it? IS THAT THE RIFF!!??!?!' So aside from the most recent incarnation of Ultra Shit Inferno that found the strength to possess the more talented of Newcastles noise populous, Foot Hair Brought It. Big time. There was a ruck, a young pig faced boy flattening an older slightly antagonistic punter only to recieve a threatening with a chair in return.

In all an inciting evening of gluttony.
